4iiii XTR M9200 PRECISION 3+ MTB Power Meter

The XTR M9200 Precision 3+ MTB power meter is 4iiii's latest model. Of course, it includes new features, such as the popular Apple Find My technology, which allows you to see the exact location of the power meter on your Apple device. So, when your power meter is not in use, you will still know exactly where it, and your bike, is at all times!

New features
Thanks to support for "Apple Find My", you can use an Apple smartphone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch to track the location of the power meter. Furthermore, the new Automatic Terrain Selection feature has been developed, which can detect different types of terrain. The power meter then automatically switches between different methods to measure cadence, ensuring accurate power output measurements on any terrain!

Accuracy
The Precision 3+ power meter is very accurate; its measurements have a maximum deviation of only 1%. Power is measured in the left crank arm and is doubled to calculate total power output. For most riders, the difference between their left and right legs is very small, making this power meter an excellent choice for your mountain bike. When you put power onto your pedals or crank, it not only bends the crank, it twists and bends in three dimensions. 4iiii's 3D power measurement system measures this multidimensional load, so you can be confident that your unique pedal stroke will be accurately measured regardless of your riding conditions and power output.

Connectivity
The 4iiii XTR Precision 3+ power meter transmits a Bluetooth and ANT+ signal to be able to pair with most modern bike computers such as Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, Mio, Lezyne and Bryton. Calibration goes via 4iiii Device Configuration. This app is available for Android and IOS and also indicates battery status.

Battery life
This power meter does not have a built-in battery but uses a CR2032 button cell battery. Of course, this will have to be replaced every now and then but, fortunately, it will last for more than 800 hours, which is a lot longer than most internal batteries in power meters. When the remaining battery life gets below 15%, you get a notification in the 4iiii Device Configuration so you still have plenty of time to replace the battery before it dies.

• This crank arm fits a Shimano XTR M9200 crankset.

Please note: The 4iiii Precision power meter is slightly wider than a Shimano left crankarm due to the power meter unit. This may cause problems in some bike frames. To determine if your frame is compatible, you can perform a test: You need to be able to move an 8 mm Allen key vertically between the crankarm and the chainstay. The last product picture on this page (top) should clarify this. Or use the Frame Clearance Check on the 4iiii web site, which includes a handy little document that you can print out and stick on the crank. Then you will know exactly between which points the 8 mm Allen key should be able to move. If there is enough clearance for the 8 mm Allen key, you may assume that the 4iiii power meter is compatible with your frame.

To mount this 4iiii power meter, you must first remove the current left crank arm. Fitting the 4iiii power meter goes in the exact same way as fitting a Shimano left crank arm.

1. Remove the pedal on the left side.
2. Loosen the two crank bolts at the top of the crank arm and remove the locking pin from the slot.
3. Remove the crank nut using this crank tool.
4. Now the crank arm is basically loose and can be taken off the axle. You may have to use quite a bit of force here. The most important thing is that you do not damage the crank arm.
5. Put the power meter crank arm in place by following the steps above in reverse order.
6. Finally, remember to mount the pedal on the new crank arm, and you are ready to ride!
